Alice Bertha "Heise" Chainey
Forsyth, GA - Alice Bertha "Heise" Chainey, 88, died Friday, Dec. 10,2004. Memorial services was held on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, at Monroe County Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Chainey was born in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin William and Willie Alice Clark Heise. Her husband, Earl Sullivan Chainey Jr. and her daughter, Shirley Ann Reynolds preceded her in death, Mrs. Chainey was a retired textile worker. She was a former member of Crussell Freeman Church of Atlanta, a member of Mable White Baptist Church, a member of Senior Friends, a member of Georgia Association of the Deaf, Senior Citizens of the Deaf and South Carolina Association of the Deaf.
Mrs. Chainey is survived by her children, Lee West of Fredrick, Md., Carol Faiss of Forsyth, Ga., Bonnie Chainey of Albany, N.Y. and Sullivan Chainey III of Meansville, Ga.; ten grandchildren and 22 greatgrandchildren.
The family is receiving friends at the home of Carol Faiss, Forsyth, GA.
