Manning, SC - Clyde "Lynn Franklin" Greene, Jr., 33, died Thursday December 25, 2008 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC. Born September 18, 1975 in Manning, SC. Son of Clyde Franklin Greene, Sr. and Carrie Witherspoon Greene.
In his youth, he accepted Christ as his Savior and joined Biggers A.M.E. Church.
He was a 1993 graduate of Manning High School.
After moving to Spartanburg, SC he attended Spartanburg First Baptist Church where he worked with the youth. He was also employed with the SC School for the Deaf and Blind as a Behavioral Intervenist.
Survivors are his parents Clyde F. and Carrie Witherspoon Greene, Sr of Manning, SC. 1-son Treyshon Ja'len Greene and 1-daughter Aiyana Miasia Greene both of Paxville, SC., 2-sisters Shondelle T. Greene of Manning, SC. Whitney D. Greene of Orangeburg, SC., 1-brother Lionel C. Greene of Charleston, SC., fiancee, Tiffany Bethune of Paxville, SC., grandparents Hugh and Rosella Harvin of Baltimore, MD., step-grandmother Mary Witherspoon of Manning, SC.
Remains was placed in the church at 10:00AM Tuesday December 30, 2008. Services was held at 11:00AM Tuesday December 30, 2008 at Biggers A.M.E. Church, 6208 Kingstree Hwy, Manning, SC.
