Fred Singletary
COLUMBIA, SC — Funeral services for Fred Singletary, of 1401 Elmtree Road, Apt. B-6, formerly of Apex, North Carolina, was held Monday, January 28, 2008, at Antioch AME Zion Church. Visitation was held Sunday, January 27, 2008, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with the family receiving friends from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
J.P. Holley Funeral Home has been entrusted with final arrangements.
Mr. Singletary died Wednesday. Born in Charleston, he was the son of Susie Gorham Singletary and the late Fredrick Singletary. He was an associate member of First Calvary Baptist Church.
Mr. Singletary is survived by his mother; daughters, Gwen Busby, Charlene
Singletary, Isabelle Wise, Lois Singletary; son, F. Bernard Singletary; brothers,
Edward Singletary, Nealy Singletary, Ricky Singletary; sisters, Irma Gorham
and Blondell Singletary; fifteen grandchildren; one great-grandson.
