George David Rogers

SPARTANBURG, SC - George David Rogers, 57, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at his home.

Born July 11, 1947 in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late George Thadious and Mary Louise Rogers.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Geiger Rogers of Spartanburg; one son, Dwayne Greene of Spartanburg; four daughters, Pamela Goode, Karen Fleming, Julie Hammond and Darlene Hall, all of Spartanburg; one brother, Ronald Dean Rogers of Albemarle, NC; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Randy Greene; and by a sister, Leana Geraldine Rogers.

Memorial services was held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2006 in the Davis Chapel of First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Sal Barone, Rev. Bill Adams and Rev. Larry Barnes.

The family received friends Saturday morning prior to the service at the church.
