Harold Thompson
Charleston - Harold Dean Thompson entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 24, 2006. He was born in Charleston a son of Luther Earl Thompson and Jewell Dean Baker Thompson on Friday, October 24, 1958. He attended Charleston High School. He was a self employed painter. He liked to fish and was an avid sports fan.
Surviving is his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. John Hackett, Sr. of Charleston, a sister, Ruth A. Braxton-Brown and her husband Greg of Florence, KY; a brother, Jimmy E. Thompson and his wife Helen of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Melissa A. Braxton-Brown of Bloomington, ID and Jennifer M. Braxton-Brown of Florence, KY; three nephews: Jonah D. Braxton-Brown of Duluth, MN, Jeremy T. Braxton-Brown of St. Thomas, and Justin D. Braxton-Brown of Florence, KY.
The relatives and friends of Harold D. Thompson are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 11:00 AM Friday, January 27, 2006 at the JAMES A. McALISTER FUNERAL HOME, 1620 SAVANNAH HWY.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the S.C. Association for the Deaf, 437 Center St., Columbia, SC 29169. Funeral was arrangements by James A. McAlister, Inc.
