Helen Hayes
SPARTANBURG, SC-- Helen Hayes, 72, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Thursday, December 7, 2006. She was surrounded by her family.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Ray E. Hayes, mother of the late Stanley Ray Hayes, and mother of Stephen Wells, Donna Hayes Waldrop, and Norma Hayes Horton Monserrate.
She was the grandmother of Jonathan Dale Horton, Daniel Travis Horton, Adam Jose Monserrate, Stephanie Hayes Waldrop, and the late Alexander Antonio Monserrate. She was the great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren.
Helen was a native of Tennessee and has many relatives still residing there. She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church and had many loving friends.
Visitation was held from 7:00-9:00 PM on Friday, December 8, 2006, at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services was held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2006, at Cedar Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow the services at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
