Jerry Wayne Ligon
SPARTANBURG, SC- Jerry Wayne Ligon, 54, of Spartanburg, SC passed away on
May 19, 2007.
Born on August 16, 1952 in Spartanburg, he was a son of Nettie Lee York Ligon
and the late Thomas Newton Ligon. Mr. Ligon was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist
Church of Inman, SC. He had been in ill health for sometime with cancer.
For many years he devoted his life to helping others up to the time of his death and left loving memories for those who knew him.
He was a printer by trade which he learned at age 17 and continued doing until his death. He worked for sometime at SCSD Printing Shop.
Survivors are a son, Chad and a daughter Tonya, both of Spartanburg, SC. Also three brothers; Johnny of Waterloo, SC and Ronny and Danny of Spartanburg, SC, one sister, Teresa of Faith, NC and five grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on May 22 at the Greenlawn Funeral Home with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens beside his father.
