Joseph Timothy Bass, Sr.
BOILING SPRINGS - The funeral for Mr. Joseph Timothy Bass Sr. of 216 Robert Mason Circle was conducted on Friday, September 15, 2006 at Barron Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Billy Sistrunk and the Rev. Alvin Biggerstaff was officiated and burial was followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Bass, 81, died Wednesday, September 12, 2006, at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.
Born in Chester, he was a son of the late John Joe Bass and Carrie Feaster Bass. A retired employee of Springs Industries, Mr. Bass attended the S.C. School for the Deaf and Blind.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Peak Bass; a daughter, Ann Stephenson of Chesnee; a son, Joseph T. Bass Jr. of Greenville; two sisters, Sarah Sistrunk of Carlisle and Francis Wilson of Santuc; a brother, Wylie Bass of Chester; and three grandchildren.
