Louise Catherine Brown Floyd
Mullins - Mrs. Louise Catherine Brown Floyd, 79, died sunday, April 20, 2008 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence after an illness.
Louise was born December 2, 1928 in Mullins to the late Arbie and Alma Lewis Brown. She was a graduate of the SC School for the Deaf in Spartanburg, SC.
Louise is survived by a son, Tim Saunders of Charleston; four sister, Mildred Simmons of Mt. Pleasant, Virginia Capps and her husband Linwood of Mullins, Earline Ricks of Mullins and Marilyn Harrelson and her husband Carol of Mullins; and a brother, Ray Brown of Temperance Hill.
Louise was predeceased by a son, Carl Saunders; a brother, Joseph Brown and a brother-in-law, Phillip Ricks.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kem Thomas ans the Rev. Jim Kirkland officiating. Entombment will follow in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. The family will receive friends wednesday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm one hour prior to the service at Cox-Collins Funeral Home and at other time at the home of Marilyn and Carol Harrelson at 305 E. Proctor St., Mullins.
