Maida R. Fuller

Lauren, SC - Maida Riddle Fuller, 87, of 1004 North Harper Street, wife of Grady Fuller, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2006, at Laurens County Hospital.

Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late Fielding L. and Ressa Franks Riddle. She retired from the Laurens Hosiery Mill and was a member of First Baptist Church of Laurens and 3M Deaf Ministries of Central United Methodist Church. She was inducted into the S.C. School of the Deaf and Blind Basketball Hall of Fame in August 15, 1988.

Surviving in addition to her husband is one daughter, Virginia F. Simmons of Laurens; one son, Daniel Richard Fuller of Laurens; two sisters, Dorothy Riddle Cooper of Roebuck and Mary Riddle Burns of Laurens; and three grandchildren, Melody L. Simmons of Laurens, Rhonda Simmons Thompson and husband Michael of Greenville, and Ashley Kearston Simmons of Laurens.

Funeral services was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2006, at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel, with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

The family was at the residence and received friends Saturday before the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at The Kennedy Mortuary.
