Narvus Jean Clubb
Asheville - Narvus Jean Clubb, 73, of 1 Battle Square, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2005.
A native of Spartanburg, S.C.; she was the daughter of Arthur and Gladys Rymer Clubb.
Narvus lived most of her life in Asheville. She retired from First Union bank and then worked at Asheville Savings Bank for 13 years. She was a graduate of Cedar Springs School for the Deaf, where she played basketball and began her lifelong love of sports. She was a giving person to anyone and everyone. Her family and friends will miss her wonderful sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Howard Clubb of Washington. She is survived by her sisters, Marcie Molton of Hendersonville and Patrisha Dawson of Asheville. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews who loved and will miss her very much.
A memorial service was held on January 23, 2005 at The Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Candler with the Rev. Ronald Brown of Enka Baptist Church officiating. Her Burial is in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
