Billy Hyman
TIMMONSVILLE, SC — A memorial service for Billy Hyman was held at 4:00 PM Thursday June 25, 2009 in the Chapel of Calvary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Phillip Easterling and Rev. Mike Mills. The family received friends at the church following the service and at his sisters home, 206 S. Main St., Timmonsville. Cain Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mr. Hyman, 62, died June 22, 2009, at his residence. He was born, October 5, 1946 in Mullins, SC, to the late Willis Lup and Lexie Keith Hyman. He was also predeceased by his live in companion, Harold Calvin.
Mr. Hyman was employed a lumber company in New Orleans, LA for 25 years. He moved to Timmonsville after his home was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are: sisters, Patricia Ann Creech of Timmonsville, Dorothy Cumbee of Spartanburg, Gladys Woodard of Goldsboro, NC and Jean Stokes of Effingham; seventeen nieces and nephews.
