Inez Eula George Rouse

Eula George Rouse of Wilmington, N.C., died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at
Davis Health Care Center.
A graveside service was held at at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, at Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead.
She was born on September 16, 1914, in Cherokee County, S.C., the daughter of the late Eber Allen George and Annie Cooper George.
Mrs. Rouse graduated from the South Carolina School for the Deaf. She was a longtime resident of Greensboro, N.C., where she was an active member of the deaf community. In addition to her parents, also remembered are her beloved husband of 64 years, Joe W. Rouse; four brothers, Pittman George, William George, Howard George and Eber George, Jr.; and one sister, Marie Hatchett, all who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sisters, Gyneta Mathis and Edith Rouse and husband, Elmore; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel.
