• All About Support Service Provider (SSP) by Marilyn Trader: By popular demand, Marilyn Trader returns to explain all about Support Service Providers (SSP). She will be explaining the difference between a SSP and an Interpreter, the Do’s and Don’ts of being a SSP and/or an Interpreter for the Deaf/Blind, working with clients who are Deaf/Blind at Conferences and much more!
   
• How to Prevent Identity Theft by Paula Wright: Identity Thief is one of the fastest growing crimes in America. Scammers can use your social security to get personal information about you. They can use your social security number to apply for credit cards and use them to purchase things and you will be stuck with the bill. This workshop will help us learn how to prevent identity thieves from stealing our personal information.
   
• Wellness in the Deaf Community by a Representative(s) from Medical Corp. of America: Have you ever wondered what the signs of a heart attack, stroke or diabetics are? This workshop will focus on preventative methods on taking better care of ourselves. We will learn the symptoms of some of the most common diseases such as heart attack, stroke, diabetes and other problems and how to prevent them.
   
• SCSDB Update by President Maggie Park: They have six initiatives to share with the members of SCAD. They will be launching a new website and marketing campaign. They have many things to share with us. Come and listen to what South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind will be offering in the Fall.
